supplied to the injectors because they knew that electrolysis was causing injector failure after moisture had been forming on top of the injectors at the electrical connections (at least that's what my little friend "Kazoo" in Japan told me :). I believe that fuel with ethanol additives has added to this problem in that the compound used to hold the brass spring guide and/or the O-ring which suspends the brass spring guide is susceptible to the additives causing them to breakdown and/or allow fuel to seep past and accumulate on top of the injector.
